Aimee Ruzicka graduated from UT Knoxville in 1971 with a bachelor’s degree in history and in 1974 with a master’s degree in library science. A retired law librarian, she now lives in Nesquehoning, Pa., in the southern Poconos.
Aimee and her husband, Richard, were skiing in March at the Heavenly Ski Resort at Lake Tahoe. The resort is divided, half in California and half in Nevada, as is the lake.
In the first picture, with the help of the ski patrol, Aimee attempted to put her left foot in Nevada and her right foot in California.
The second picture is on Lake Tahoe, looking back at a portion of the ski resort. With the help of the captain and his GPS unit, Aimee said she attempted to have this photo taken at the moment the bow of the boat was in California and the stern was in Nevada.
