Smokey Finds His Irish Side in Chicago

Suzanne Holmes works in the Department of Environmental Health and Safety at UT Knoxville. She also received her master’s degree in safety education from UTK in 1994.

She sent this photo from Chicago in March 2009.

“St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago is like Mardi Gras and New Year’s Eve rolled into one, and I was lucky enough to be there this year,” she wrote. “The highlight was watching the Chicago River, which runs through downtown, dyed green!”
