Where in the World is Smokey?

Taking a "Replacement" Cruise in Alaska

James "Jay" Price graduated from UT Knoxville in 1962 with a bachelor's degree in industrial management. He went on to get his MBA from Ohio University. He now lives in Seneca, S.C., and is retired from Mead Corp. He sent a photo from a cruise he took in May 2008.

"These are the Leikarring Norwegian Folk Dancers, on board the Empress of the North, while docked in Petersburg, Alaska. My wife, Janice, and I were on the Empress of the North in 2007, when it ran aground and we abandoned ship, with rescue by the U.S. Coast Guard. This was our replacement cruise, and these young dancers came on board to entertain us."
