Where in the World is Smokey?

Sightseeing in California and Washington, D.C.

David McCowan graduated from UT Knoxville in 1989 with a master's degree in library science. He is a teacher in Los Angeles. He sent a photo from the La Brea Tar Pits in LA.

"My wife and I moved to LA three years ago so I could start a new career and a new job," he said. "I love living in LA because it also gives me a chance to fulfill my dream of being an actor." During a business trip to Washington, D.C., McCowan also sent a photo from the Museum of the North American Indian.
