Where in the World is Smokey?

Singing "Rocky Top" in Nicaragua

Linda Canada attended UT in 1971-72 for her prerequisites for her diploma in Nursing from Fort Sanders School of Nursing. Her daughter, Rebeccah Canada, is a 1999 graduate in communications.

"The picture of Smokey was taken in Grenada, Nicaragua, on April 19, 2008, at a restaurant. I attempted to teach the musicians in this picture how to sing Rocky Top. They laughed, but never understood the seriousness of learning the tune. Still, it was a great international ice breaker. I am pictured with Cindy Quillen, a missionary I was assisting, along with her husband, while representing Cokesbury Church."
