Lee Ann R. Rawlins, a research assistant professor with the Rehabilitation Counselor Education and Southeast Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program in UT Knoxville's Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling, sent this photo from Albuquerque, N.M. in January 2008.
"Smokey rode the longest tram in the world -- the Sandia Peak Tram," Rawlins wrote. "We braved the freezing cold temperatures to reach a height of over 10,000 feet."
She added: "I truly enjoyed the chance to wear my 'Where in the World is Smokey?' shirt because many people asked me about the Ready for the World initiative here at UT Knoxville. I travel a great deal and will look forward to taking it across the globe with me."
Rawlins was in New Mexico for a conference dealing with issues of rehabilitation and working with individuals with disabilities.
